To create an Acorn Fund you simply make a commitment to contribute at least $10.000, with a minimum gift of $1000 now. You have 10 years to bring your balance up to $10,000 for permanent unrestricted granting. You may, of course, pledge a larger sum, or choose a shorter time period.

How do I establish an Acorn Fund?

With both permanent and pass-through assets, the Acorn Fund has provided grants in excess of $4,700,000, which includes unrestricted grants to local charities made possible through our annual day of giving. The Acorn Fund also awards restricted grants to local charities for designated programs which are having an impact in our community.
